Who We Are

The Right Brain Reach was developed through a critical writing class. We feature book reviews written by our classmates and create content about the literature world.

We are a group of soon-to-be-graduating seniors who all share a love for books and culture. No matter your preferences, we believe there's a book out there for each person to fall in love with.

Through this class we have created a blogging community dedicated to various aspects of the cultural arts. We encourage you to check out our classmates' sites here:

Zach Jones

Reading has been a hobby of Zach's since he was a child, especially books about sports. He has a passion for true crime books with one of his favorites being, "Wiseguy" the true story behind the infamous movie Goodfellas.

Stanley Miller

Reading has been a passion for Stanley since his childhood days. His favorite book growing up was “The Cat in The Hat.” He believes it is important to read books that can challenge one's perspective and overall broaden your horizons .

Maddie Minton

Maddie has been an avid reader since she was young. Always drawn to mysteries and young adult novels, she aims to eventually write a book of her own one day. Her inspiration is author Jodi Picoult who is known for NY Times Bestseller "My Sisters Keeper."

Samantha Ward

Samantha believes that every person has at least one story inside them, and sees the millions of unique books out there as proof of that. She especially loves novels about science fiction, long journeys and feminist theory.

Jenn Williams

From reading Susan Collins' "Gregor the Overlander" series as a child to devouring Mindy Kaling's hilarious memoirs as an (almost) adult, books have always been Jenn's favorite entertainment medium. For her, there's no better combination than a chilly night, fuzzy blanket and a good book.
